They use outdated or lower quality level materials and don't finish the orders according to customers' requirements. In order to avoid the potential risks, it is better and necessary to carry out a quality inspection
China LED Agent provide a series of inspection services, like factory audit, initial production inspection, pre-shipment inspection and other customized inspection services. Among them, pre-shipment inspection is the most important inspection and customers choose it mostly. Our professional and experienced inspectors will help find the potential problems and ensure customers that they will always receive the orders in perfect condition
We will randomly pick certain quantity out of ready products to do the quality inspection
Following 5 steps will show how our pre-shipment inspection(PSI) is carried out
1- Safety Test
We do the safety test by strictly following international standard IEC 60598-1, making sure that customers will receive the products in safe condition
Hi-pot test
Earth continuity test
Insulation test
Function test / Circuit continuity test
Life test
2- Product Appearance Check
We will perform visual inspection on the products and the details as below
Materials should be in the same quality according to samples or prior orders
Housings are in good shape and should be brand new without any scratches on
Housing colors should be the same as they are writen in the contract
Product measurements should be the same as they are writen in the contract
3- Label / Packaging Check
We will check the packaging and the labels on the products, the inner boxes and cartons
Design of the labels must be exactly the same as the original documents
Labels must contain all the needed information or as per customers' requirements
Labels should be sticked or printed on the right position
Label material should be in good quality or as per customers' requirements
Label size should be suitable or as per customers' requirements
Design of the inner boxes and cartons must be exactly the same as the original documents
Inner boxes and cartons should be in good quality and can pass drop test(if necessary), strong enough to stay well during the transportation
There will be no Chinese characters or suppliers' information or any other company's information on the inner boxes or cartons
4- Light Source Test
We will use integrating sphere equipment to do the light source test. A report with detailed data will be available and the report mainly include the data as below
Wattage
Voltage
Luminous flux
Color temperature(CCT)
Color rendering index(CRI)
Lumen efficiency
Power factor
5- Internal Part Check
We will disassemble one item out of each model to check the internal part to see if the components are qualified and the workmanship is good. The main check points are as below
LED chip should be certain brand as agreed
LED driver should be certain brand as agreed
Earth connection should be well finished
Wiring work should be well done, not cross-wired
Mechanic function should be well and the operation should be easy and smooth
Cable protection at all sharp
edges should be well done
More check points could be added if customers have the need
A professional inspection report will be issued and sent to customers after the whole inspection is finished
